LUKE PROFILE: “RECORDING THE CHRISTIAN MOVEMENT AS IT UNFOLDS!”

I am a physician by trade! I acted as Paul’s private physician.1 I met Paul during his ministry and became a close associate and his traveling companion( Read Colossians 4: 14). I am recording the Christian movement as it unfolds in what has become the gospel of Luke and the Book of Acts. It is a historical event. As a scientist, I put all events in an orderly, accurate manner depending on what Paul communicated to me and through oral communication by eyewitnesses of Jesus’ life, ministry, death, resurrection and ascension , as given to both Paul and me!

I am really impressed by the ‘anointed’ ministry of the gospel as I record in Luke ( Luke 4:18), as it shows the healings of mind, heart, body, finances and relationships of those in pain and oppressed, which is the whole humanity! I see through Paul the same anointing that was seen in Jesus, as well as in all His disciples who are baptized in the Holy Spirit, including myself. So I see the Christian movement is growing by leaps and bounds! I know it will never end as Messiah, the anointed One, has made the entrance of His kingdom! It is an anointed ministry!

ANOINTED MINISTRY
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
Because He has anointed me
To proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovering of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are oppressed.” Luke 4:18
