JESUS: BODY, SOUL AND SPIRIT COMPLETELY DIVINE, PART 2.

Erickson states that as for the humanity of Jesus there have been different views about it throughout history.1 I believe that Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary. But I believe that she was just a human vessel who was honored by God to carry God Himself: the fertile egg was placed in her womb by the Holy Spirit. So it was completely God, fertile egg and soul, without sin to be transmitted by human DNA. From embryology, it is known that the fetus waste passes through one of the entries to the umbilical chord to mom and mom’s nutrients go to fetus through another entry in the umbilical cord, without blood interchange. So in Jesus’ case , Mary was just passing the necessary nutrients without blood contact! So He was completely God and sinless though He would come in human-like form .

I believe like the Bible, in that He had a birth, and that with His life it indicated He had a physical human-like nature. He did have the same physiology and physical limitations as other humans. For example in Matthew 4:2, He is shown experiencing hunger when He fasted; He also experienced thirst as seen in John 19:28; he experienced fatigue when He traveled ( John 4: 6). And of course He suffered physically and died. As for human emotions, He is shown loving: in John 13:23 He calls John as the disciple ‘whom Jesus loved’; in John 11:3 the message to Jesus from Lazarus’ sisters was ‘Lord, the one you love is sick’; He was sorrowful and troubled before His betrayal and crucifixion ‘And taking with Him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, He began to be sorrowful and troubled.’(Matthew 26: 37); He was angry and grieved with people who wanted to accuse Him for healing on the Sabbath: “ And He looked around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart, and said to the man, ‘Stretch out your hand.’ “( Mark 3:5); He experienced joy: “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.” (John 15: 11); He wept: “And He said, ‘Where have you laid him? They said to Him, ‘Lord come and see.’ Jesus wept.” This as a consequence of Lazarus’ death. So these emotions are similar to a regular human’s emotions but they could come from a divine sinless soul, as seen in one of the beginning blog papers ,as it is written in the Scriptures: ‘God created man in His own image!’ ( Genesis 1: 27). And of course, He has always possessed a Divine Spirit which He shares with God the Father and Holy Spirit God!
