THE JOY OF THE LORD
In Nehemiah 8:10 it says: “For the joy of the Lord is Your Strength.” So we see here that our strength comes when we rejoice in the Lord God Jesus! So you may ask how does joy come into our heart? In Psalms 28:6-7 it says that when we lift our voices in supplication to the Lord, trusting in Him, then our hearts will rejoice when He hears our supplications and as we lift our hearts to praise Him with our song, and He hears and answers! It is specially hard for those that are not natural singers, but if we try to put our words in simple praise that come from our hearts, then we can make songs unto the Lord that He sees and hears! So this is our strength that comes for our journey’s walk! And we should sing new songs on a daily basis!
When we get saved no matter how blatant a sinner we have been, when we find Jesus as Lord and Savior and start walking uprightly in the Lord, that day is one of great rejoicing, because it is the Lord’s doing! “This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24.
Psalm 28:6-7
“Blessed be the Lord, because He has heard the voice of my supplications!
The Lord is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him.”
