The Word says in John 11:25: “Jesus said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.’” So here we see that because of Jesus’ resurrection, which we celebrate at Easter, we can have the hope of eternal life even though we may die physically! We are going to be resurrected too!
In 1Corinthians 15:12-14 it says that some say there is no resurrection of the dead. But if not, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching and our faith is empty! Because our faith is all based on Christ having died at the cross, shedding His blood for the forgiveness of our sins, and that He was buried and rose again on the third day! As He was seen by many witnesses!
In 1 Corinthians 15: 51-54 it talks about what some call the rapture, where at some point in time, we will all be changed or resurrected and those that have died before us will be raised incorruptible and then those believers here will be too! We will all pass to immortality!
So the question is how should we be ready in order to be partakers of the resurrection of our bodies! The following Scriptures show all it takes is believing in our hearts on the Lord Jesus: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son(Jesus), that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16. Believing like this is what is called being born again. “Most assuredly I say to you, unless one is born again, he can’t see the kingdom of God.” John 3:3. And also, “That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10.

Omuri Yohaana 3:3,16 nikigira kiti: “ ‘Yesu akamugarukamu ati: ‘Buzimazima ninkugambira nti: omuntu yaaba atazairwe busya, tarikubaasa kureeba obukama bwa Ruhanga’….’Ahabw’okuba Ruhanga akakunda ensi munonga, yaahayo Omwana we omwe nyamunegyere, ngu weena orikumwikiriza arekye kuhwerekyerera omuri Yohaana1. 25-26 nikigira kiti: “ Yesu yaamugira ati: NDI kuzooka n’amagara, orikunyikiriza, n’obu yaakufa, aryagumaho, kandi orikunikiriza, tarifa, eki nookiikiriza?’ “
