ABOUT GOD AND LOVE!

The Holy Bible, whose words are all breathed by God ( 2 Timothy 3:16 ) says “ if we give away everything we possess , and even if we burn up our bodies but have not love, then we gain nothing ( 1 Corinthians 13:3). It also says, “ God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.” ( 1 John 4: 16).

So here we see that the very essence of God is love and we really know God when we live in love. And the Word describes love as: “ Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way, it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrong-doing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all thing, endures all things. Love never ends.” ( 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8).

So whether it is love for God, or love for a partner, or brotherly love, or love for your children or parents, this is what God calls the very essence of love. When Jesus was asked what the greatest commandment in the Law was, He answered: “ You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”(Matthew 22: 37-40). He was repeating the Shema in the Old Testament ( Deuteronomy 6:4-5).

So basically the Lord commands us to love, so where there is hate we are to remove those weeds from our heart’s soil and replace it with seeds of love which are also given by God until it bears into the fruit of love. And like it says, to love others we are to love ourselves first, with the love He talks about in Corinthians! And first of all to get there, we are to love God!

Some might say: ‘Is this type of love real?’ I worked in a special need’s children center part-time and one really sees this type of love clearly shown through these children. It was a humbling experience because they teach us where we are off in many instances, specially in what concerns about love! So we ask You Lord to teach us al to love You first as we wait for You each day in our hearts! And teach us to love ourselves and others with the very essence of love that is all about You! For You are love! And Lord may we make the choice and keep our part of the commitment to love unconditionally always!

ཡེ་ཤུ་ཁིརཱིས་བརྒྱུད་དེ་ཐར་པ་ཐོབ།

ཡེ་ཤུ་པའི་བྱུང་རབས་གོང་འཕེལ་འགྱོ་བའི་བསྒང་ལས་ ཡེ་ཤུ་གི་མིང་འདི་ Yahweh is Salvation ཟེར་སླབ་ཨིན། གཙོ་བོ་ སྐྱབས་མགོན་ སྐྱབས་མགོན་ དཀོན་མཆོག་ཟེར་བའི་ བཀའ་ཁྲིམས་རྙིངམ་ལས་ དོན་དག་འདི་ཚུ་ ཡེ་ཤུ་ལུ་སྤོ་བཤུད་འབད་ཡོདཔ་དང་ ཡེ་ཤུ་པ་ཚུ་གིས་ ཁོ་ལུ་ཡིད་ཆེས་ག་དེ་སྦེ་བསྐྱེདཔ་ཨིན་ན་ཚུ་ཨིན། ༡ ང་བཅས་ཀྱིས་ད་ལྟོ་ ཤུལ་ལས་ ཡེ་ཤུ་འདི་ སྡིག་པ་དང་ ཆོས་ཀྱི་གནག་དུང་ལས་ སྐྱབས་མགོན་དང་ སྐྱབས་མགོན་སྦེ་ མཐོངམ་ཨིན། དེ་ལས་ཁོ་རང་དཀོན་མཆོག་ལུ་འགྱོ་སའི་ལམ་གཅིག་པུ་འདི་ཨིན། དེ་ལས་ཁོ་ང་བཅས་རའི་སྐྱབས་མགོན་ཨིན།

ད་ལྟོ་ང་བཅས་ཀྱིས་ ཁོ་དང་གཅིག་ཁར་ མཐུན་ལམ་བཟོ་ནིའི་དོན་ལུ་ སྐྱེས་བའི་ཉམས་མྱོང་ཐོབ་དགོཔ་ཨིན། དེ་ལས་ ཡེ་ཤུ་གིས་ཁོ་ལུ་ ང་གིས་ཁྱོད་ལུ་སླབ་ཨིན་ མི་གཅིག་གིས་ དཀོན་མཆོག་གི་རྒྱལ་སྲིད་མཐོང་མི་ཚུགས། 25-26 དེ་ནང་ “ ཡེ་ཤུ་གིས་མོ་ལུ་ ང་འདི་ གསོན་པོ་སྦེ་ལོང་མི་དང་ མི་ཚེ་ཨིན། ང་ལུ་དད་པ་བསྐྱེད་མི་དེ་ཤི་རུང་གསོན་པོ་སྦེ་སྡོད་འོང་། དེ་ལས་ག་ར་འབད་རུང་ ང་ལུ་དད་པ་བསྐྱེད་དེ་སྡོད་མི་ཚུ་ ནམ་ཡང་མི་ཤི་། ཁྱོད་ཀྱིས་འདི་ལུ་ཡིད་ཆེས་བསྐྱེདཔ་ཨིན་ན?’ “

དེ་འབདཝ་ལས་ ང་བཅས་ཀྱིས་ ང་བཅས་ཀྱི་སྐྱབས་མགོན་དང་གཙོ་བོ་ཡེ་ཤུ་དང་གཅིག་ཁར་ སྐྱེ་བ་གསརཔ་ཐོབ་པའི་ཉམས་མྱོང་ལས་བརྟེན་ཏེ་ ད་ལྟོ་དཀོན་མཆོག་དང་གཅིག་ཁར་ མཐུན་ལམ་བཞག་ནིའི་དོན་ལུ་ ང་བཅས་ཀྱི་སྡིག་པ་ལས་ ཡིད་ཆེས་བསྐྱེད་དེ་ འགྱོད་པ་སྐྱེད་དགོཔ་ཨིན། “ཡེ་ཤུའི་ཆོས་ལུགས་ཀྱི་མི་ཚེ་འགོ་བཙུགས་པའི་སྐབས་ རང་གི་སྡིག་པའི་ངོས་འཛིན་དང་ རང་གིས་རང་ལུ་དམིགས་ཏེ་ མི་ཚེ་གི་ལམ་ལུགས་འདི་ བཀོག་བཞག་ནི་གི་ སེམས་ཐག་བཅད་དགོཔ་ཨིན།”2
