SITTING AT HIS FEET: ON THE QUESTION ABOUT SPIRITUAL WARFARE: WHAT WEAPONS ARE WE SUPPOSED TO USE?

The Word says: “For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. We destroy arguments and ever lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ…” 2 Corinthians 10:4-5. The Word also says that “ No weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall confuse every tongue that rises against you in judgment.” Isaiah 54: 17.

The Lord makes it clear that this is the heritage of His servants; likewise we as His servants can throw weapons through His Word to cast down every thought, every tongue, every power that exalts itself against who God is! One time, at night while I was falling sleep I felt like I couldn’t wake up: I could sense the devil in my room. Then in my spirit I rose up and said ‘In the name of Jesus, devil, leave!’ and immediately I was able to wake up completely and I felt the murkiness of the room disappear!

Our words and thoughts can bring deliverance to those in our circle of blessing, because “He who is in you is greater that he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4. And the Lord tells us to “Resist the devil and he will flee from you.” James 4:7. Where warfare starts, usually is in the mind, so we should strive to have the mind of Christ for He says, “ Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind.” Romans 12:2.

And in Ephesians 6;14-18 it does tell us to put on the armor of God so that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil which are girding our waist with truth, putting on the breastplate of righteousness, shod our feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, taking the shield of faith, taking the helmet of salvation and sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God and praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit. So it is all Jesus in us, “Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Colossians 1: 27.

KARAHAYAN MALARAPAN ANTUK YESUS KRISTUS!

Nyenja pracaya teken Guru, yadiastun ia mati, ia lakar idup. Buina nyenja ane idup tur pracaya teken Ulun, ia tusing lakar mati salawas-lawasne. Napike ragane pracaya ring indike puniki?’ “
