THANKSGIVING We live in a thankless society. I know at the beginning of my journey, I heard quite frequently that we were to give thanks in everything. Some might say, ‘How is this possible? Even while we are going through trials and tribulations? This seems...

ESCHATOLOGY: STUDY OF THE LAST THINGS, PART 2. There are a few Scriptures about the rapture and Second coming of Jesus! For example about the rapture there is 1 Thessalonians 4: 15-17 which says: “For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are...

ESCHATHOLOGY: STUDY OF THE LAST THINGS, PART 1. My view is like Millard J. Erickson who states: “ eschatology has traditionally meant the study of the last things. Accordingly, it has dealt with questions concerning the consummation of history, the completion of God’s...

NATURE OF THE CHURCH, PART 1 I learned and believe that the Holy Spirit is the One who empowers the church, as a community of believers, so the world might see and be convicted of sin. History shows the inception of the church when the Holy Spirit fell on a group of...

How To Receive Jesus and Be Saved

If you would like to receive Jesus Christ into your life and be “born again,” all you have to do, according to Him is:

“Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

 John 3:7-8

“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”

John 3:16

“Because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raise Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

Romans 10:9

“For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Romans 10:13

Ask, Seek and Knock

“Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that aseeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”

                                                             (Matthew 7:7-8)
