ABOUT THE TITHE TO THE RELIGIOUS LEADERS!
The Word says that God set up the Levites as priests, or religious leaders, that have a sincere heart to serve in the Lord’s work, to take care of the congregation. ” And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, ‘Bring the tribe of Levi near, and set them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister to him. They shall keep guard over him and over the whole congregation…’ “Numbers 3: 5-7.
They were to receive the tithe from the people of Israel, that today is represented by the church, in other words the church which is made up by the believers and is supposed to give the tithe to those that serve them and take care of the church. “To the Levites I have given every tithe in Israel for an inheritance, in return for their service that they do… ” Numbers 18:21.
And those religious leaders are to give a tithe to the Lord, that is, they are to support other religious leaders, from the tithe they received. So they are to tithe from the tithe. “And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, ‘Moreover, you shall speak and say to the Levites,— ‘when you take from the people of Israel the tithe that I have given you from them for your inheritance, then you shall present a contribution from it to the Lord, a tithe of the tithe. And your contribution shall be counted to you as though it were the grain of the threshing floor, and as the fullness of the winepress.’ ” Numbers 18: 25-27.
You might say this was in the Old Testament times but even Abraham, of whom we are the seed of by faith in Jesus Christ, gave a tenth of all he possessed to God’s High Priest, Melchizedek. So it follows that we are to still do this to receive all the same blessings from the Lord! (Genesis 14: 18-20). Even in the New Testament there are other Scriptures that say to give in order that we might receive. “Give and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you.” Luke 6: 38.
God says when the church doesn’t give to the work of the Lord, the land suffers and is not blessed because He sees Himself being robbed! He says all we have to do is test Him by giving to His work and then He will pour out a blessing to all those who give and the Whole nation will be blessed! “But you say—‘Will man rob God?’ Yet you are robbing Me. But you say, ‘How have we robbed You?’ In your tithes and contributions. You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing Me, the whole nation of you. Bring the full tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house. And thereby put Me to the test, says the Lord of hosts; if I will not open the windows for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need. I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of your soil, and your vine in the field shall not fail to bear, says the Lord of hosts. Then all nations will call you blessed, for you will be a land of delight, says the Lord of hosts.’ ” Malachi 3: 8-12. Therefore, when we tithe we should avoid much of the dryness or famine in any area of our life, whether physical, in the soul, in the spirit or in our finances! Sometimes we are blessed not immediately, but at sometime in the future you will.
“I call upon the Lord, Who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.” Psalm 18:3.
Cjapis chest?’ “

sburtant il To sanc pal pardon dai miei pecjâts ;
O sai che o soi un pecjât. Par plasê perdonami i miei pecjâts;
Par plasê vignî tal mê cûr!
