MIRACLES OF HEALING AND MULTIPLICATION TODAY!

Jesus’ 3 years of public ministry were followed by many miraculous healings, as we see in the following Scriptures: for example, where he healed 2 blind men : “Then He touched their eyes, saying, ‘According to your faith be it done to you.’ And their eyes were opened.” Matthew 9:29. Also in Matthew 9:20-22 we see the woman with the issue of blood being healed as she touches His garment: “And behold, a woman who had suffered from a discharge of blood for 12 years came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His garment, for she said to herself, ‘If I only touch His garment, I will be made well.’ Jesus turned, and seeing her said, ‘Take heart daughter, your faith has made you well.’ And instantly the woman was made well.”

In my personal experience in the last few years I’ve had 2 instances of miraculous healings! About 2 years ago, all of a sudden I was doubling in what appeared to be abdominal pain: so the Dr. did some tests, the last one being a pelvic ultrasound which found a large cyst in one of my ovaries! Well, I went to the health food store and a lady gave me some drops called ‘scudders’ alterative’ and also ‘wild yam’ drops: well, a week later I had another ultrasound and the cyst had completely disappeared! The Dr. almost said ‘allelluia’ : he told me the blood work was negative which showed no cancer which he now told me the cyst was so large he thought it might be malignant, so he had tested me for cancer! Anyway, I say that was a miracle from God!

Another time, one day I woke with a terrible pain all through my back to the stern of my chest. I kept nursing it on my own but it didn’t go away, so on third day I called the Dr. and he had an ultrasound done of the upper stomach. Well they found a large gallstone and my gallbladder was diffused. Because it was the 4th of July holiday, I could not see a Dr. so I called my Christian friend, Janet, to pray for me! She prayed according to Isaiah 53:5 : “ But He was wounded for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities; upon Him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with His stripes we are healed.” And I went to the health food store where they told me that if the stone was not in the duct , it could come out by taking 3 tablespoons of olive oil with lemon juice in the morns, so I did that and for the next 5 days I saw stones coming out! But when I saw the Dr. he said, ‘No, they can’t come out’. So I doubted and thought I needed surgery as he suggested even though I had no more pain! But my friend said, ”The Word says , ’You are healed’ “. Then my dentist told me “ Nancy, these stones are just cones with spikes.” I told him: “That’s what I saw come out!” So my faith with the Word and the dentist’s words, rose again and believed ‘I was healed’ and all pain and discomfort went away! So I say that was a miracle of healing! Of course, I had another ultrasound and it was okay!

Of course, I believe in medicine and doctors when needed: I know at one point in my life I almost died when someone told me I had no faith for taking medicine which the Dr. told me I needed for the rest of my life, and I stopped taking it for a week! I have a friend, Wanda, who is bipolar and she would tell me :”Why is my life so terrible?” So I kept telling her “Take your meds”. It took her a while but now she is taking them and her life has taken a turn for the better, and she is happy! So, sometimes we need our meds but sometimes God also does miracles! I believe both are from the healing hand of God!

As for miracles of multiplication, at the beginning of my journey with the Lord I was taking some supplemental vitamins and they were in a crystal clear bottle. I was taking them daily and then after about a month I noticed that the bottle was still full. I said ‘that’s a miracle of multiplication’ ! Also a friend told me one time she had invited about 10 people to dinner and made spaghetti to feed the 10. But another 10 people came and she thought she wouldn’t have enough spaghetti to feed them. But she kept pouring the spaghetti in big portions to the 20 and at the end there was still enough! These were miracles like the multiplication of fish and bread during Jesus ministry!

And greater works than these
Will he do, because I am going to the Father.” John 14: 12.
